Book an appointment before your visit to ensure a dedicated 90-minute session where you can explore our stunning collection. Feel Totally at Ease
It’s important to our Mia Sposa team to know you are coming so please make sure you book an appointment. The bridal consultants can then prepare to welcome you and your party to ensure you have a fabulous time trying on bridal dresses!
Your appointment will last 90 minutes so you won’t feel rushed – allowing yourself plenty of time to find a style that suits best and then we can work together to find “The One”. Do try dresses that we suggest – We know our range and what suits certain shapes the best!
In House Seamstress
Our Mia Sposa team have at their disposal two professional seamstresses’s who will work with you to ensure everything is done to ensure your perfect fit. We will also advise an give you costings for the work to be carried out will book in any other fitting appointments that may be required
Fitting Timing
Your fitting appointment usually takes about 30 minutes and we respectfully ask that you arrive on time. We understand if you are running late but please be aware that this impacts on other fitting appointments as we are usually very busy on fitting days, which are normally Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Your first fitting is generally 4-8 weeks before your wedding with your second fitting being 2-4 weeks before your wedding. We will look at the dress together and give recommendations based on their experience but we also ask our brides if they are happy with us to go ahead and undertake the work to ensure the dress is perfect.
At your second fitting or your final collection appointment, please feel free to bring along a family member,bridesmaid or friend who will help when dressing you. Or alternatively you can use our dress fitting service
Fitting Essentials
You will need to ensure you bring all of your accessories most importantly your wedding shoes and your underwear including bra to all fittings.
Please remember at this stage this is your precious wedding gown and to avoid it getting dirty, we ask you not to wear creams, fake tans and other make up and related products
Please advise us when you are coming to collect your precious wedding dress so we have time to prepare it.
This process involves careful pressing of your wedding gown and we undergo final quality checks. Your wedding dress will be ready in a breathable wedding bag or if you have requested the dress to be packed in a case, it will be carefully and lovingly wrapped in acid-free tissue.
One of our Mia Sposa team will carry your dress out to the car as their final job, ensuring safe onward transit for the big day.
After your big day we can recommend having your wedding dress dry cleaned so it remains in its original beautiful condition.

Our dresses range in price from £1299 - £2400 - all prices can be viewed on our main collection on our website.
However tempting it may be to have all of your loved ones there to help, we would recommend a couple of people at the most.
Our sample dresses are in different sizes and part of having a professional consultation is so that you can be fitted and pinned as needed, this will really help you see how you will look even if the dress is a few sizes off fittings.
And Finally….
Should you fall in love with a dress we require a minimum 50% deposit to place the order with the balance being due 60 days later.
Please remember most wedding dresses take at least 6 - 8 months to be ordered as they are all made to order so don’t leave yourself short on time.
We do have a fabulous range of Ready to Wear styles that can be taken away on the day so ideal if your wedding date is soon - these are all priced £1000 and under.
One Last Thing….
Dresses may not look all that appealing on the hanger – trust us to help you choose. Think about your venue and your theme for your wedding – again there may be some dresses more suitable to certain venues.

Your appointment lasts up to 90 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore styles, try on gowns, and never feel rushed. Together, we will help you discover silhouettes that flatter, inspire confidence, and hopefully lead you to The One. We always encourage brides to trust our guidance and try on styles we suggest — with years of experience and a carefully curated collection, we know how transformative the right dress can be.
Our gowns are thoughtfully selected to suit a range of bridal styles, venues, and timelines. Our Off the Peg collection with selected styles offering savings of up to 70% off RRP is priced from £699 – £1200, offering beautiful designer gowns ready to fall in love with and take home on the day. We also offer a select made-to-order collection, with styles up to £2000, perfect for brides who prefer a more traditional bridal journey.
While it is tempting to bring everyone you love, we recommend bringing just one or two special guests whose opinions you trust most. A smaller party often creates a calmer, more enjoyable experience and helps keep the focus on you.
Our sample gowns are available in a variety of sizes. During your appointment, our experienced consultants will professionally fit and pin dresses where needed, allowing you to truly visualise how each gown will look and feel, even if the sample is not your exact size.
Should You Find The One…
If you fall in love with a gown during your appointment, our made-to-order gowns require a minimum 50% deposit to secure your order, with the remaining balance due 60 days later.
For all Off the Peg gowns, full payment is required on the day of purchase, as you are reserving and purchasing the exact gown you have chosen to take home. Please note that all Off the Peg purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Most made-to-order gowns require approximately 6–8 months for delivery, so we always recommend shopping with plenty of time. For brides with shorter timelines, our Off the Peg collection is the perfect option — allowing you to fall in love with your dress and take her home the very same day.
