Magical Justin Alexander Weekend at Mia Sposa Bridal Boutique

Having experienced one of the most exciting weekends in our Mia Sposa Bridal Boutique we thought we would share some images from our Justin Alexander – Meet the Designer weekend that we held at the end of September.

We had been long awaiting this event as the Justin Alexander Designer Tony Mentel is in such great demand with his incredible talent.

The Mia Sposa team regularly meet with Tony twice a year to discuss his current collections and chose the styles we think our North East brides to be will love.

We were honoured to be chosen to host this event and began our planning with much excitement!

We wanted to ensure this experience for our brides was the best we could make it and to make it a little more special we added some extra touches for the weekend.

The award winning Coco Lumiere added drama to our weekend by very kindly supplying our fabulous JA letters that were admired by all that saw them! We were joined on Sunday by the fabulous Emma Hill Bridal Hair – she spent time styling our brides before or after their appointments and advised on looks hat would compliment their chosen dress and venue – Emma loved giving her feedback on the styles our brides were trying too and we really appreciated all her input – she brought a wonderful sparkle of excitement with her. We treat our brides to fizz and tables of sweet treats to make the occasion even more special and every bride that visited us that weekend was given a wonderful goody bag.

We included in the goody bag a handmade candle lovingly made by the talented Caroline from Bernica Candles www.berniciacandles.co.uk – we hope you all enjoyed the amazing scents from this delightful present xxx These handmade personalised candles make a wonderful gift to your wedding party or even as a favour for all your wedding guests.

The absolute star of the weekend was Tony himself. He made every bride feel at ease – listened to their ideas for their wedding day- and dress and handpicked styles for the girls to try. It was such fun – Tony got our brides to try dresses they never even dreamed of – and made them fall in love …..

He then individually sketched every bride in her dream dress – we framed these as a wonderful keepsake of their day – and an everlasting memory of choosing the most special dress they will ever wear.
